This document provides detailed instructions, including required parts and tools, for replacing either the Speed or the Distance sensors in a Porsche 997.2 or 991 versions of the 911. It shall be noted, as shown in the instructions, that it is not required to remove the transmission from the vehicle. This procedure takes about a day to perform (first time DIY'er should budget a full weekend). While there are no steps that are specifically difficult there may be some learning threshold involved in using the press/pull tools and the PIWIS. Detailed instructions on how to operate these will be added at a later date.
