stjoh is the founder of the PDK Pirates website. He is a long term Porsche enthusiast and serious DIY'er. While not a trained mechanic he has a long career in engineering and testing. stjoh has been active on various Porsche forums for several years with a focus on helping other members troubleshoot and repair their vehicles and publishing various how-to guides.

Key contributors are jrichar and PV997, well known forum members and considered the ones that opened up the possibility for DIY and relatively inexpensive repair of PDK transmissions.

While a lot of the content is from these key contributors the intent with the website is for it to be a community resource.  Anybody who has valid, proven information to share is encouraged to do so.
